Japanese Fairytales

* Japanese doll making

Session 3     July 15 - 18

Garden Fairy, Gnomes and Elves

*make a woodland fairy house
*create a fairy skirt or gnome hat
*clay crafts
*garden tea party
Recommended ages 7 to 10

Session 4     July 22 - 25

Rumpelstiltskin a German folktale 

*dye wool
*golden craft making and needle felting
*simple knitting
*Rumpelstiltskin play
Recommended ages 7 to 10

Session 5    July 29 - August 1

Under the Sea

*water color painting
*mermaid or pirate doll making
*make a pirates map
*treasure hunt
Recommended ages 7 to 10

Session 6     August 5 - 9

Land Down Under

*wet felting
*paint a  wooden alligator or rain stick
*outback hunt
*animal stories of Australia
*jewelry making
